NORTHEAST FLORIDA FAIR ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIPS
The Northeast Florida Fair Association is proud to offer two (2) $1,000 scholarships to youth who have exhibited a
desire to further their education. The purpose in offering these scholarships is to encourage growth, knowledge
and assistance to students who qualify and plan to major in agriculture and other fields of study.

To be eligible a student must reside in one of the following counties in Florida: Nassau, Duval, Clay, Baker, or St.
Johns. The applicant must be a high school senior, enrolled or planning to enroll in a junior college, university, or
technical education. The applicant must have been involved in the Northeast Florida Fair for a minimum of two
years.

On an attached page, answer in a one page essay, “What is the significance of the Northeast Florida Fair to you?”
The applicant's essay should briefly discuss the youth's background, lists of any awards or special recognition from
the Northeast Florida Fair, community, high school, agricultural organizations (4- H, FFA, YLPA or other fairs). List
any leadership experience with any of the above. The applicant must provide three (3) original letters of
recommendation. Applications are available online, www.neflfair.org, and may be mailed or sent electronically. The
Scholarship Committee will review only completed packets with the application, essay and original letters of
recommendation. Applications, essays and letters of recommendation are due on September 1, 2026. The decision
of the Committee is final. All applicants will be notified of the results prior to opening day of the Northeast Florida
Fair. The scholarships will be presented at the Parade of Champions on Saturday, October 17, 2026, 4:00 p.m.
Scholarship funds will be awarded directly to the winners.
